Good morning...

A disappointing day in terms of the strike rate for the top rated horse but,

Just like Monday, you would have been in profit if you had blindly backed the second rated horse.

I've been busy writing the Cheat Sheet for the new format ratings and...

Trying to work out whether to show Flat Ratings separate from AW ratings.

Anyway, I'll talk about that later , firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 5.88%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31.3 units returned to 52 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 60.19%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 1.3 units returned to 17 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 7.65%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 21.75 units returned to 17 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, 127.94%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 8.25 units returned to 18 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 45.83%

Bankers Bet = AW Maidens - RC1 greater than 84% - Top Rated horse with an LTO of less than 42 days. - where R4 Status = 1 and where Race Type = All Weather and where the Race is a Maiden Race and Horse\'s last run was less than 42 days ago and the Race\'s RC1 is greater than 84%

Selection = Back to ISP - Wolverhampton (AW) - 15:35:00 - Greys Angel (4)

Races (over last year): 38 Wins: 23 Strike Rate: 60.53% ROI: 163.43% AV SP: 2.70

Grey's Angel came second.

Chancers Bet = AW High RC2 Handicaps - where R4 Status = 1 and where Race Type = All Weather and where the Race is a Handicap Race and the Race\'s RC2 is greater than 60% and Runners was equal to or less than 8

Today

Today's early test ratings show 32 rated races from five meetings.

This is quite useful for me as I need Irish racing and AW racing to help me work on the Speed Ratings.

I'm reaching a point where I need to make some hard decisions about the way I present the speed ratings and it'll be this that I shall be working on today.
