The book takes you through the process and strategy of race profiling at the toughest National Hunt Meeting of them all. In each of the 26 races at the 2009 Cheltenham Festival it outlines the profile needed to identify the potential winner and how to profit from these selections from both an ante-post perspective and on the day of the race. The Cheltenham Festival is ideal for using race profiling, as it is the Olympics of National Hunt racing. All the horses are racing at their peak. The structure of the races is also ideal, a mixture of championship level weight races and ultra competitive handicaps. In order to maximise the information contained in the rest of this book you will need to set aside one or two days before the start of the festival so that you can assess all the races. It is well worth doing as you will then have a hit list of horses to back when the racing starts and you can enjoy the racing without having to constantly refer back to the form book
