Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Well, I have to admit... That I had to physically check the results this morning. I thought "This can't be right, can it?" But it was... Another blistering day. No one can complain about a 44.44% strike rate. Had you done the forecast in every race you would have had £33.50 returned to your £18.00 in stakes. Had you done the reverse forecast in every race you would have had £62.15 returned to your £36.00 in stakes. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Had you stuck to the 8 Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse it was even better. From these races there were 7 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 77.78% If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 15.54 units returned to 9 units staked. Thus the profits on your stakes would have been 72.67% Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Over all, a pretty good day for the ratings. Although a lot of our winners were at pretty low prices. The real stand out was, of course... The 24 runner, biggest handicap hurdle of the season, The Betfair Hurdle. The new ratings, R5, correctly predicted the winner... Kalishnikov! 2018-02-11--1518318019_520x164_scrot It was a day of many forecasts (8 in total.) Had you blindly done the forecast in every race you would have had £62.94 returned to your £39.00 staked. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Well, our great start to the year continues. Yesterday, the strike rate for our top rated horse was 36.11% And, had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race, you would have made a profit of 25.44% (to ISP.) Had you blindly done the forecast in every race you would have had £40.81 to your £36 in stakes. Had you blindly done the Trifecta in every race you would have had £124.80 to your £36 in stakes. Had you blindly done the Combination Trifecta in every race you would have had £451.50 to your £216.00 in stakes. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Had you stuck to the Non Handicap Races then, from the 12 non-handicap races there were 6 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 50%. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of those races you would have had 16.83 units returned to 12 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, 40.25% Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Well, with Sedgefield being abandoned... It was a pretty poor day's racing yesterday. Still our top rated horse had a strike rate of 33.33% and, had you blindly backed every top rated horse in every race, you would have made a profit of 10.58% on stakes (to ISP.) For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results There weren't any real stand out races from the day... Although we did get the Trifecta in the 14:20 at Market Rasen. The Trifecta paid £21.80 - the forecast paid £11.75. So, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... What a brilliant day yesterday was! Our top rated horse had a strike rate of 39% which means that, for the month so far... We are running at a strike rate of 38.78% For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... You know... Normally I'd be really happy with a 29.41% strike rate. It's just that on Thursday we had a 52% strike rate and I guess that that has spoiled me. Still, 29% is pretty good and, had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race you would have made a 27.88% profit to level stakes. I often say that, the proof of a ratings service is the number of forecasts, reverse forecasts, trifectas etc. that it predicts. Yesterday, had you blindly done a £1 forecast in every race you would have had £43.22 returned to your £34 staked. In fact, had you blindly done a £1 reverse forecast in every race you would have had £81.72 returned to your £68 staked. Had you blindly done a £1 Tricast in every race you would have had £172 returned to your £34 staked. Had you blindly done a £1 Combination Tricast in every race you would have had £242.20 returned to your £204 staked. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, enough of that, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News – 52% Strike Rate!

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... What can I say? A 52.17% strike rate (for our top rated horse) is unbelievable. I do have to say that Wine O'Clock came rather early yesterday (and, believe me, I can feel it this morning!) Basically, it arrived at that point in the day when, no matter what happened to the remaining races, we had made a level stakes profit on the day. As it happens, we ended up doubling our stakes (and a bit more) to ISP. We finished up with a profit on stakes of 110.02%. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Who can complain about a 35% strike rate? Or a 56.98% profit on stakes (for our top rated horse?) Saturdays are normally a struggle for us but... Yesterday was easy. Today is officially a day off but I shall be doing some work on the morning ratings email. If it all goes horribly wrong (as coding changes often do), don't panic - I'll just send out the current ratings email. For more detail of how we did yesterday, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... A pretty average day, yesterday... Kelso was the obvious stand out, There were 6 rated races at that meeting and our top rated horse won 4 of them. 12.805 points were returned to the 6 points staked. Weirdly enough, today I shall spending some time trying to identify meetings like that; if we can (mathematically) choose the best meeting of the day to concentrate on then there might be a road to profit there. For more detail of yesterday's performance, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Well, we had a great start to the day... With 3 winners from the 5 races on the first page of the ratings (Exeter was abandoned.) The first page of the ratings brought in 10.21 points to 5 points staked. The first page of the ratings are generally more accurate than the later races. This is partly because the forecast prices are more accurate for the early races and, also, because those races are easier to rate. Unfortunately things tailed off a bit as the day went on but... We did end up with a perfectly respectable strike rate (for the top rated horse) of 27.78% For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results For the non-handicap races we had a strike rate of 60% and we made a profit on stakes (on those races) of 39.20% to ISP. Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
