Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Another great day, yesterday... Even though we only had three meetings. A 53.85% strike rate (for our top rated horse) is pretty excellent and, had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race (not that I would encourage you to do so) you would have made a profit (to ISP) of 50.70% For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results I do have to say that the results PDF seems to have missed out Catterick - this occasionally happens when we have abandoned races. I hope that it's not too cold where you are; it's bluddy freezing here in sunny Western Brittany! Yesterday I turned the heating up from the normal economy mode to the more expensive program mode for the first time this year. Big mistake! I now have no heating at all. Still, although I'm not an electrician, I do have a soldering iron, a multimeter and a screwdriver (I've got lots of screwdrivers) - what could possibly go wrong? Only the all weather racing (two meetings) seems to have survived today. Anyway, enough of that, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... After a bit of a shaky start... I was pleasantly surprised with the results for yesterday. It wasn't so much the strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 33.33% (although, that's pretty good.) It was more the prices of some of the winners. That meant that, had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race (not that I would suggest you do that) you would have made a profit of 32.88%. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results There were plenty of forecasts yesterday. I like this because I am convinced that the number of forecasts (and reverse forecasts) are a really good indicator of the accuracy of the ratings. Trifectas and combination trifectas even more so. Had you blindly backed the forecast in every race you would have had £44.93 returned to your £42 in stakes. Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Well, a 37.50% strike rate (for our top rated horse) is pretty acceptable to me. Especially as, had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race (not something that I would recommend), you would have made a profit of 17.28% to ISP. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Had you concentrated just on the 16 non-handicap races then your strike rate (for the top rated horse) would have been was 43.75% and you would have made a profit of 23.56% on your stakes. Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning... Over all, a pretty good day for the ratings. Although a lot of our winners were at pretty low prices. The real stand out was, of course... The 24 runner, biggest handicap hurdle of the season, The Betfair Hurdle. The new ratings, R5, correctly predicted the winner... Kalishnikov! 2018-02-11--1518318019_520x164_scrot It was a day of many forecasts (8 in total.) Had you blindly done the forecast in every race you would have had £62.94 returned to your £39.00 staked. For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
