From tomorrow...
There will be a new link on your daily email.
This will link to yesterday's Results Analysis File.
A sample of this is....

Now, I do apologise for the horrible results yesterday!
9 meetings and far too many non-runners (when is someone going to sort that out - it's making a mockery of the sport?) conspired to give us a challenging day?
Now, every day...
I have to sit in front of the computer all afternoon; noting the results and looking at reasons why we did well in a race and...
More importantly....
Why we did badly?
That takes a lot of time.
A while back I started an email conversation with Terry who produces his own Analysis files and colours the results with a sort of Traffic Light system...
Winners are marked in Green, 2nds are marked in Amber and 3rds are marked in Red.
I thought to myself... "I'll nick that idea!" and started marking up my PDFs with different coloured marker pens.
Then I started running out of marker pens (most of which, I freely admit, were stolen from the stationary cupboard at work - when I used to work for my living, that is?)
I was just about to go out and buy some more Marker Pens (for the first time in my life - there's always been a stationary cupboard at work to be raided?)
But then I thought... "Why not get the server to do it all for me?"
And that's what I did!
Now, you'll notice that I've taken out the Jockey and Trainer names - they really mean nothing to me.
UJ and UT mean Unique Jockey and Unique Trainer respectively - they do mean something to me.
The Stall Number doesn't work at the moment but I'll sort that out (once again, I don't ever look at that?)
By removing the Jockey & Trainer it gives me some space to make some notes.
Those will be important to me?
I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself.
Now, I'm sure that...
Some of you are going to ask for the same report but listing all horses (and not just the top three rated) and...
That will happen soon but I've got to make a major change to the underlying infrastructure before I can do that and...
I'm an hour ahead of (most of) you...
Which means that (thank the lord), I'm one hour nearer Wine O'Clock!
And sometimes I think that the only reason I jacked in a perfectly good high paying job in the city was...
To move to a country where I'd be one hour nearer to Wine O'Clock?
Which means that that task may have to wait?
As always...
My kindest regards
