Recent Races by Race Type

focus-ratings-speed-ratingsHello again...

I am continuing with the idea that I had about looking at the recent performance (over the last 28 days) of different race types. The original post may be seen here.

I am still trying to get a feel for this and, until I manage to get the historical data ready for analysis I'll just muddle on this way.

I suppose that my intention is to reduce the number of races that we need to focus on every day. This seems to be a logical way of doing so.

Today's selections are...

1). Catterick - 13:15 - Walsongham Grange (recent race type SR of 28.57%)
2). Catterick - 13:45 - Sam Spinner (recent race type SR of 21.79%)
3). Lingfield AW - 14:30 - Free Zone (recent race type SR of 28.57%)
4). Lingfield AW - 15:00 - Critical Thinking (recent race type SR of 22.73%)
5). Lingfield AW - 16:10 - Gnaad (recent race type SR of 22.73%)
6). Catterick - 16:25 - Bell Weir (recent race type SR of 22.22%)
7). Dundalk - 17:00 - He's Our Music (recent race type SR of 28.57%)
8). Dundalk - 18:00 - Alnahar (recent race type SR of 30.00%)

9). Kempton AW - 18:15 - Dark Destroyer (recent race type SR of 22.73%)
10). Dundalk - 19:00 - Sheisdiesel (recent race type SR of 22.73%)

These are the races that have had a strike rate over the last 28 days of over 20%.

So, from the 27 rated races, I have identified 11 races for which race types we have done well with over the last 28 days.

It will be interesting to see how well the 4 most successful race types (in bold) do.

Until I have thoroughly back tested this strategy I strongly suggest that you don't back these selections.

As always...

My kindest regards
